Since this is going to be a full restoration, we stripped the bike completely down so the frame could be stripped and bead blasted before new paint. The engine was disassembled and inspected and all components were dissembled for rebuild. Saving the coveted silver tag was important so it didn’t get destroyed during stripping and painting. Even the original wiring harness was is good shape so we decided to use it instead of getting a new one. Here are a few pictures of the process.
