Because this bike was so original and nice, the client decided to not do a full restoration with painting the frame/fairings and replacing all of the hardware. We decided to clean and rebuild everything but not make it cosmetically perfect. It is a really nice survivor and they are only original once, as the saying goes.

Now, we are at the reassembly stage and are putting all the sub-assemblies back on the bike. Carbs are back on after rebuilding. The exhaust needs to go on before the radiator, so the pipes were cleaned/refinished and new flange gaskets installed. Peg brackets hold the exhaust so they were cleaned up and mounted. Next, we replaced all the cooling hoses with modern silicone pieces and smooth clamps so they don’t cut into the soft silicone. The overflow and oil tanks were installed and new hoses used, also. Next up is the wheels/tires and them bleed the brakes.
