HUSQVARNA NAMED MARQUE OF THE YEAR FOR 2010 AMA VINTAGE DAYS Woodcliff Lake, NJ – February 2, 2010…Husqvarna, BMW’s off-road motorcycle marque, will celebrate both its heritage and its future as the Marque of the Year at the 19th Annual AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, July 9-11 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Recognized as the world’s largest gathering of vintage motorcycle enthusiasts, AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days attracts tens of thousands of fans of all ages, eras and brands. In conjunction with the event, Husqvarna will be hosting it’s annual dealer meeting.
Vintage motorcycles continue to gain in popularity each year and the 2 big events are at Mid-Ohio in the summer and Barber’s in the fall. If you’ve never been to one of these events, you are missing a lot of fun and some awesome old motorcycles. One of my friends is a rabid vintage collector and owns the 2 Kawasaki’s in the picture below. One of the great things about vintage motorcycles is that they are still very affordable, generally easy to find parts for and lots of fun to ride.
