tdy_vieira_clooney_070925-300w.jpgToday has a little interview with George Clooney about his bike accident this past Friday. He and his girlfriend had minor injuries, but it does seem as if the big name people are in bike accidents more often than the regular guy.

Clooney told police that the car had signaled a left turn but then abruptly turned right, hitting his motorcycle. The driver of the car, Albert Sciancalepore, 27, said he signaled for the right turn.

Both Clooney and Larson were wearing helmets and were released after treatment at Palisades Medical Center in nearby North Bergen.

“It’s a he-said, she-said right now,” Weehawken Police Sgt. Sean Kelly told reporters, “but you can’t pass on the right in Weehawken or anywhere in New Jersey.”

I wonder if any of these guys have ever taken a safety or riding course.  Even long time riders can benefit greatly from these courses since we tend to get sloppy and forget the basics sometimes. MSF has courses in the US as well as most state motor vehicle depts.
