Springsteen.jpgBeing closer to 50 than 40, I can really appreciate this. Very cool to see these guys clean up. Also, it was surprising to see a Kawasaki EX650 win instead of the tried and true SV650. Check out the whole story over at Cycle World.

Somebody check the sponsors list. Geritol, AARP and Depends must be behind the Kawasaki Ninja 650R that won the Sport Twins class at the SunTrust Daytona USA 300, season-opener for the 2007 Moto-ST series. Certainly the riders are almost old enough to qualify for a Senior Citizen discount!

Jay Springsteen, who admits to being 49, and Jim Filice, 45, teamed up to finish an entire lap ahead of second-in-class Brian Kcraget and Melissa Berkoff on the SpeedWerks.com Suzuki SV650. Third in class went to the Go Big Racing Suzuki SV650 of Canadian riders Ross Millson and Paul Glenn.
