New Ducati.jpgIf you are like me and never really warmed up to the 999, there may be cause to rejoice. Cycle World has some pics and a video of what looks to be the 999 replacement during testing. It is all duct taped up, but you can see that they went back to the headlight style that the 916 made famous.

Proof that you can’t hide from the extended and highly informed family of Cycle World readers, a heavily camo’ed V-Twin was spotted last week at the Ducati works in Bologna by a Canadian subscriber. Our man with the camera—who wishes to remain anonymous in case he’s put on a Ducati “do-not-sell” list in retribution—was in the midst of an Italian tour of the Lamborghini, Ferrari and Ducati factories (lucky dog) when he happened to spot an idling machine just inside the factory gates.

The guy got a short video of the test rider pulling away quickly after he realized that he was being photographed. So maybe we get a new Ducati next year!
